Upgrade of the electrical supply to the Refectory: 6 August – 24 August

Date of disruption: Monday 6 August – Friday 24 August

We are notifying you of cable trench work between the Edward Boyle Library and the Refectory. Consequently access via the ramped pathway will be temporarily blocked between the School of Performance and Cultural Industries (PCI) and the School of Earth and Environment during office hours.

Effects of these works:
Disabled staff, students and visitors will not be able to use a section of the ramped pathway between the School of Performance and Cultural Industries (PCI) and the School of Earth and Environment. The most direct alternative route will be using the lift in the PCI building.

There will also be a small digger in the vicinity and therefore there will be some noise created.

Reason for work:
To upgrade the electrical supply to the Refectory.
