Further information

In recent years, the Faculty of Biological Sciences reduced its space holdings to 18,890m2 (excluding CEU), in line with previous recovery and restructuring plans set out in various IPEs. There’s now a requirement for additional good quality research space for existing research staff and new recruits to grow research income and in order to accommodate the additional headcount based on current space utilisation levels, a further 6,000m2 NIA is required.

Project key stages:

  • Completion of enabling works – March 2018
  • Completion of installation of units – April 2018
  • Completion of landscaping – March 2018
  • Occupation – September 2018
