A £35M investment will be made to create this ambitious new building. With enabling works well underway, and start of construction expected later this year, we anticipate full completion of the project in autumn 2021. The proposals are for the construction of a new multi-storey teaching facility on Cloberry Street, shared by LUBS, the School of Law and Central Teaching Space.  It is proposed that prominent features of the building will include a new Trading Room, flexible teaching areas and Behavioural Laboratories to provide more flexible and innovative ways of teaching.

Enabling work and trial pits to locate existing site services are now complete.

There will be planned road closures to Cromer Terrace and Cloberry Street from April.

Main contractor works are anticipated to commence in November 2019.
